Ceno Finally Returns With ‘Writers Block’ Mixtape

in Featured/Mixtapes by

It’s been a long time since we’ve heard anything from Maryland native, Ceno. Regardless of the time he’s been gone, he returns to prove a point with his project, Writers Block. The appropriate title comes after a long gap of dealing with life, creating and focusing on himself internally.

Writers Block immediately commands your attention, beginning with a strong introduction filled with aggression and no explanation of his disappearance. In short, the gap isn’t as important as his return to his love of music.

It’s important that you know and understand the origin of Muzik Additicts isn’t new, but an ongoing impressive collective of artists incomparable to any other sound you’ve heard before. The collective prides themselves on remaining original and delivering important messages you may not hear from the first time you press play. So, rewind until you’re able to grasp the concept.

When asked about his personal feelings about the project, he says “feels good about this project because it has been long in the making. I wanted my fans to feel the reason behind my disappearance through the music.” From listening to the project, equipped with two bonus tracks, it’s well worth the wait. Now, plug in the aux cord, relax, and press play.

Following up to his critically acclaimed album, The Fall, he recently released two new songs on a set appropriately titled, After The Fall. Marcellus Juvann seems to be receiving much deserved recognition after releasing his personal project lately from larger platforms. In an interview with Pigeons & Planes, he described his music “as his own personal mandate. The chronicle of a young man making his way to reach the masses, meeting all the unavoidable vicissitudes along the way, and addressing them in his music.”

While his body of work is already impressive, he’s just getting started.

Denzel Curry Pays Tribute To A$AP Yams With Diss Track

in Featured/Music by

Carol City native Denzel Curry rounds up LOFTY 305, xxxtentacion, and THESLUMPGOD to fire back to the disrespectful track from Raider Klan founder SpaceGhostPurrp.

A few weeks back, Purrp didn’t hold back regarding his feelings about the A$AP Mob. He event went as far (which was way too far in my opinion) to diss the late A$AP Yams.

“F— lil b, f— Rocky, f— yams, f— ya’ll dead family members if you mad, and if you mad fight me one on one be quiet,” he tweeted on (Jan. 5).

“All you salty n—– in my mentions mad as f— talkin s— but ya’ll ain’t gone fight none of us doe cause ya’ll bitches,” he added.

I’m drawing a blank as to why he’s reignited the beef but because it’s Purrp, things really don’t have to make sense do they?

Today, Curry paid tribute to the late Yams with some assistance, giving a gritty new Ronny J-produced track to get his point across. The track, shorter than two minutes, Curry arrives as a “Raider Klan killa” to put the final nail in the coffin.

So, who won the battle today? You be the judge.
