The Indescribable Tyla Yaweh Experience You Can Not Miss

in Featured/Reviews by

It took quite some time to describe the experience one can have at a Tyla Yaweh show. I’m still not sure if there is a way to describe it other than indescribable. Up and coming artist, Tyla Yaweh, is one of the most hardworking artists in the Central Florida area. Represented by Dope Entertainment, he’s constantly releasing new music and hitting the road to increase the reach of his audience.

After opening up for various artists — including Earl Sweatshirt, Post Malone, and Joey Bada$$, it was finally time for him to perform at his very first headlining show. Opening acts along for the ride included Moe Waveyy, Danny Towers, Marcellus Juvann, John Zoe and Otown Marco.

Yaweh does a bit of storytelling in his music. Whether he’s diving into a crowd of people or singing with a mean guitarist in the background, he’s invoking some crazy feeling that you can’t ignore. It’s easy to fall in love with an artist such as Yaweh, who speaks about his life of once being homeless to his present day of finding a way to make it. In one song in particular, “High School Daze,” from his Hell of A Life EP, he addresses his past struggles over JonDough’s production.

Cash Money Records recording artist Caskey also showed up to support his brother Tyla, celebrating the first show by raging with the crowd. Yaweh’s set consisted of popular songs, “DUI,” “4:44AM,” “Ryda Round,” and a long list of other fan favorites. It became hard to know what to expect next, there might be over twenty people on stage or Yaweh himself might create a mosh pit with whoever wanted to join.

It isn’t easy to predict the set list for a show like this, but guaranteed you’ll have an experience you’ll never forget. The young artist’s catalog gives something to every fan, whether they want to rage or chill out and vibe for the night.
